Meditation is the art of calming the mind, of being still, and of exploring the mystic depths of the soul. It is the basis of all spiritual practices throughout the world.
Through meditation we become completely centered in the eternal present, where we neither react to memories of the past, nor project events in the future. Through meditation we gain an insight into our intrinsic inner silence, our inner space that is beyond worry, agitation or stress. We become established in a state of complete and absolute peace.
All our guided Meditation Classes are conducted by Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda, and are held every Saturday evening from 7:30 to 8:30. For those who are interested in coming to our Pranayama Class (Pranayama is the art of correct breathing), an essential precursor to meditation, may join in at 7:10 just prior to the meditation class.
